Robert Bramkamp

Director

Robert Bramkamp is a German director and screenwriter known for his experimental and visionary films. He has created innovative narrative forms with works such as MAKE UP THE WORLD (2023), an essayistic film about the construction of reality through film props, and ART GIRLS (2013), a satirical science fiction comedy about art and ecology. In PRÜFSTAND 7 (2001), Bramkamp combines historical events with fictional elements to question the ambivalence of technological progress. His films are characterized by an interdisciplinary approach that merges art, science and social criticism. Bramkamp is considered an extraordinary filmmaker who enriches German cinema with his experimental approaches.
