Greta Klingsberg

Greta Klingsberg is primarily known not as an actor or director, but as a Holocaust survivor who gained prominence for her role in the Theresienstadt camp ghetto's children's opera production of "Brundibár." While she played the lead role of Aninka in a performance that was staged in front of the International Red Cross and later for a Nazi propaganda film, her story is more about survival and the extraordinary nature of art produced under dire circumstances.
