An Australian tourist discovers the silent legacy of wartime atrocities when she arrives in a seemingly idyllic little town on the border of Bosnia and Serbia. With a video camera in her hand she explores the town of Višegrad, home of the world-famous Drina Bridge, and spends the night at the Vilina Vlas Hotel, not knowing what happend there, during the Balkan Wars. Back in Australia, she learns about the mass rape and killing of many women in this very hotel. She travels back to capture the horrors of the past on behalf of those who could never tell their story.
