Vaterlandschaften - Eine Langzeitdokumentation und Selbstbeobachtung

| 86 min

A man and woman fall in love and are expecting a child. A few months before the birth, the pregnant woman leaves her partner and breaks off contact. For three years, from the end of 2012 to the end of 2015, Peter Kees filmed himself in the process of becoming a father - and yet things aren't really going right. Based on subjective experience, freelance artist Kees tells the story of his struggle over the course of several years to take part in his daughter's life against her mother's will.
