The mini-series of Academy Award winner Jean-Xavier de Lestrade was named one of the best international series by the New York Times.
Manon, a 15-year-old petty criminal, attacked her mother with a knife in a fight and has to serve six months in an institution for juvenile delinquents. Challenged by her own uncontrollable temper, and the bureaucracy of the institution, will this be Manon’s last chance at redemption? In the first season, the anti-authoritarian youngster has to take a stand against her fellow inmates. The second season follows Manon, now five years older, to freedom. She has found work in a workshop, but has to assert herself here as well.
