Silke (34) is pushed off a bridge yet survives. However, there is no trace of an assailant. The police suspect that the crime was a random attack by a drunk person.
Silke's sister Moni (38) returns from Spain to find her sister's attacker, even though their own relationship is troubled. The offender's name is René (38) and before the crime, his life was harmonious. After the crime, he feels completely at a a loss and begins to question himself and those around him.
One day, the perpetrator and the victim run into each other and so begins an game of persecution and forgiveness.
