Against the background of the 2017 Kenyan Elections, Photographer Don, a resident of Kibera, one of Africa's largest urban slums, tries to capture the positive side of his home. Kibera, located in the centre of Nairobi, Kenya, is home to estimated 300,000 people, and has been a background for many films over the years, from the Students Emmys winner Kibera Kid to the Wachowskis Sense8. We are following artists, teachers and a boxing coach, who have transformed their hard experiences into meaningful activities as well as people who represent the ordinary life in the slum.
