The filmmaker accompanied an American basketball player to Iran, with humorous yet deep insights into Iranian society. The American basketball player Kevin Sheppard accepts an offer to play in the Iranian Super League. While tensions between the West and Iran escalate, Kevin tries to keep sports and politics separate. However, he must quickly find that this is impossible in Iran. Kevin's season in Iran culminates in something bigger than basketball: the emergence of the "green revolution" in Iran, which was ultimately then suppressed by the government. "Till Schauder, married to an Iranian woman, secretly shot many scenes with a camcorder for this wonderful film against prejudice. It has an unexpectedly cool soundtrack - Persian hip hop at its finest" (Zitty)
