A controversial re-education program aims to prevent the sons of Mafiosi from following in their fathers' footsteps.
Launched by Judge Roberto Di Bella, who is under constant police protection for his efforts, the program aims to deprive the Ndrangheta of its offspring and offer the young men an alternative.
Di Bella was rather than have the sons of the men he had convicted in the 1990s sitting in his dock and subsequently sought another way to break the endless cycle. The film accompanies the four adolescents Bader, Pierpaolo, Simone and Reda on their stony path to a life free of violence.
"SONS OF HONOUR is a brave attempt to explore a difficult subject." (Moderntimes Review)
