A Belgian drama about Turkish gays in Antwerp, "MIXED KEBAB is a film about a young man caught not just between four worlds: traditional and modern, gay and straight." (Flandersimage)
Bram is gay and thanks to his Muslim background and conservative family, he lives a double life. Bram's parents expect him marry soon and they have arranged a marriage to his cousin in Turkey and a trip for him to meet his future bride.
The dutiful young Bram appears to be the ideal son and pride of the family. But at night, he's the lover of the cute, blond Belgian Kevin. Just when their platonic 'friends with benefits' status gives way to a serious relationship, they get found out by Bram's family.
