With intoxicatingly beautiful pictures in magnificent landscapes on different continents, Hank Levine draws a portrait of the life and work of the German artist Ulrike Arnold.
The film shows her method of painting with earth from remote areas all over the world - and even with the dust of meteorites. Her encounters with old friends, the farewell of the deceased, as well as the spirituality in her paintings lead us to reflect on her work.
The film is a meditation on the beauty and sublimity of creation. The genesis of her "One World" painting, a monumental work with earth colors from all continents on both sides, integrates the scenes into a current overall project.
