After the sensational murder of a teenager in the Brandenburg province, Andres Veiels and Gesine Schmidts edit the events in a play.
It was the media event of the summer of 2002: In Potzlow, a village with 500 inhabitants in Brandenburg, 60 kilometers north of Berlin, the brothers Marco and Marcel Schönfeld, together with their friend Sebastian Fink, kill 16-year-old Marinus Schöbert and bury his body in a cesspit. Before that they had tortured their victim, who belonged to Marcel's circle of acquaintances, for hours - under the eyes of at least three adult potzlers.
