Two girls, one guilty of a crime and the other an accidental eyewitness, cross paths as adults after 20 years and relive memories of the fateful day.
Aurore is the daughter of a single-mom sex worker and doesn't like to spend at home. During one of her forays through the high-rise housing estate she meets the siblings Paolo and Maya. After the encounter, little Paolo does not come home.
