The siblings Stefan (Lars Eidinger), Julia (Nele Mueller-Stöfen) and Tobias (Hans Löw) are part of a dysfunctional family.
In the Hoffmann family, the world seems all right, at least on the surface. Stefan is a pilot, has a fast car and many mistresses. Julia and her husband Christian spend a long weekend in Turin and find an injured street dog there. Tobias runs the household and looks after the three children while he sits on his thesis. But beneath the surface, things are bubbling.
