The young half-orphan Serap works in an Istanbul textile factory. She is eagerly waiting to finally move out of her sister's and brother-in-law's apartment. Because there she is only tolerated and badly treated. Her greatest hope is to find an apartment where she can live with her father, a truck driver. But since her father is indifferent towards her, she decides to take matters into her own hands and not to show any consideration for anyone else. In her stubborn insistence, the parent-child relationship almost turns upside down. The daughter takes care of and controls the father. She hides the fact that all he can come up with are new excuses and lies.
