Bloody Milk

Pierre is a young dairy farmer. An epidemic breaks out in France and Pierre discovers that one of his animals is infected. He cannot lose his cows and will do everything to save them. He's a hardworking young farmer who still lives with his parents and is heavily invested in the well-being of his cows. Pierre prides himself on the success he has accumulated with his milk production and the overall maintenance of the livestock. But the arrival of “the Belgian disease” leads him to take harsh measures and pits him against his veterinarian sister Pascale. Director Hubert Charuel's attachment to the subject is also evident in his choice of location: his family's farm.
