Féminin/Féminin

Director and writer Chloé Robichaud - often compared by the press to Xavier Dolan - managed to enlist a cast of Quebec comedians and singers for what was originally conceived as a web series, and they consistently deliver astonishingly authentic and intimate performances. The low-key production, verging on documentary quality at times, is not only genuine and entertaining - the episodes taken from real life also testify to the young director's exceptional talent of observation.
