The Tree Feller

Andres gives up his ordinary life in the city. He moves to the quiet farm of his deceased parents and spends his days in the forest, aimlessly cutting down trees. His sole desire is to be out in nature, and to lose himself in the physical work. But the drop out is soon thwarted. His pushy relatives constantly show up with important clues about what and how he has to do things to get the run-down farm back on its feet. The dream of freedom and peace is fading more and more and Anders has to realize that he has traded one claustrophobic existence for another. In Jorunn Myklebust Syversen's film, her uncle, aunt and cousin took on just these roles.
