Moschee DE

Local residents join together while local politicians and neo-Nazis protest hand in hand against the planned construction. Demonstrations and riots ensue until incendiary devices are set and neighbors become enemies. The reenactment film "Moschee DE" is based on interviews with participants in the first conflict of this kind in the new German states. The five characters who emerge offer deep insight into the mood of a country in which Islam is becoming ensconced into everyday life.
