Children in India are taking things into their own hands. They are no longer willing to endure social injustice and environmental pollution. They start youth parliaments and elect their own ministers who stand up for their rights. They are changing their own lives for the better and are making their community-life better as well. The film takes the perspective of these young people to tell us about the challenges they face in a society that expects them to follow the example of adults. We will see how these children have opted to take a new path – with determination, courage and creativity. "A moving film that one hopes will also move others to action - here in Germany and also in India." (FBW Jury statement)
