In a snowy corner of Sweden, where winter transforms the landscape into a white fairytale, lives an elderly gentleman with his talking cat. The cat, full of anticipation for the upcoming Christmas, learns of the existence of Santa Claus and longs to meet him in person. The elderly gentleman, who does not believe in Santa Claus himself, nevertheless promises his cat that Santa will appear this Christmas Eve. To keep his promise, he begins to build a mechanical Santa Claus machine. But when the big evening approaches and the machine is set in motion, something unexpected and magical happens, surprising not only the cat but also the old man.
