Gaza Surf Club

In the harbor, ships are no longer allowed to dock and the airport is no longer used for flights. Hardly anyone gets out, almost nothing and no one gets in. A young generation is trapped in Gaza - a narrow coastal strip between Israel and Egypt which is controlled by Hamas. The young people are drawn to the beaches. Fed up with occupation, war and religious fanaticism, they have found their own unique way to protest. With their surfboards, the surfers create a small piece of freedom for themselves, between the beach and the six-mile border controlled by the Israelis.
