Afsaneh Salari

As both a cinephile and a filmmaker, I believe a good film moves & transforms something in its audience. For this to happen, the film needs to give me space to be actively part of it. And as far as the film has this generosity, it can include a variety of forms and genres, from an absurd comedy as PIG to a film that captures the pain through the magic of mundanity in an everyday setting in AFTERNOON WOMAN. This is what’s unique about the films I’ve watched on SOONER. In this channel, you will find two of my own documentary films.
