Želimir Žilnik is a Serbian film director known for his socially engaged and politically charged works. He began his career in the 1960s and is considered a key figure in Yugoslav Black Wave cinema. Some of his notable films include "Early Works" (1969), "Marble Ass" (1995), and "Kennedi Goes Back Home" (2011). Žilnik has received numerous awards throughout his career, including the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival for "Marble Ass."
