Ilse Voigt

Ilse Voigt was a German actress whose career was primarily focused on theater, although she also appeared in a number of films. Born on 17 August 1905, she started her career in the theater scene in the 1920s. Voigt transitioned into film in the mid-20th century and had roles in several movies, often portraying supportive and character roles. Some of her notable film appearances include "Kleiner Mann – was nun?" (1933) and "The Captain from Köpenick" (1956). Despite being a respected actress in her time, she did not receive major international awards or widespread recognition outside Germany. Her work, however, has been appreciated for its contribution to German theater and film during her active years.
