Helmut Schreiber

Helmut Schreiber, better known by his stage name Kalanag, was a renowned German magician, filmmaker, and television producer. Born on January 23, 1903, he initially gained fame through his magic performances both in Germany and internationally. Transitioning into the film industry, Schreiber worked on a variety of projects, mostly during the 1940s and 1950s. One notable film he directed is "Annelie" (1941), a romantic comedy-drama.
