Gertrud Mischwitzky

Gertrud Mischwitzky, better known by her pseudonym Charlotte Kerr, was a German actress, film director, and writer. She was born on May 29, 1927, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and passed away on December 28, 2011. Kerr had a versatile career that spanned theater, film, and television. She was notably known for her role in the iconic German TV series "Raumpatrouille – Die phantastischen Abenteuer des Raumschiffes Orion" in the 1960s, where she played the role of Lieutenant Tamara Jagellovsk. Beyond acting, Charlotte Kerr made significant contributions as a director and writer. She directed the film "Eines Tages..." (1991) and was deeply involved in documenting the life and work of her husband, renowned Austrian poet and playwright Friedrich Dürrenmatt. Although she didn’t receive major awards, her legacy is marked by her versatility and contributions to both acting and directing in the German entertainment industry.
