Georges Wilson was a French actor and director born on October 16, 1921, and he passed away on February 3, 2010. He had a prolific career in French theater and cinema. Wilson was notably the director of the Théâtre National Populaire (TNP) in Paris from 1963 to 1972, succeeding Jean Vilar. He appeared in numerous films, such as "Les Tontons Flingueurs" (1963), "Army of Shadows" (1969), and "The Leopard" (1963). Besides his work on stage and screen, Wilson also directed several films, including "La Femme Enfant" (1980). Recognized for his contributions to the arts, Georges Wilson received accolades such as being named Commandeur of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
