Dorothée Gilbert

Dorothée Gilbert is a prominent French ballerina, primarily known for her association with the Paris Opera Ballet. Born on September 25, 1983, in Toulouse, France, she joined the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School in 1995 and became part of the company in 2000. Gilbert quickly climbed the ranks, being named "Première Danseuse" in 2006 and achieving the top rank of "Étoile" (star dancer) in 2007 after a stellar performance in "Nutcracker" as Clara. Throughout her career, Gilbert has danced lead roles in a wide array of classical and contemporary ballets. She has performed in famous productions such as "Swan Lake," "Giselle,” "Romeo and Juliet," and "Don Quixote."
