Christopher Walken is an American actor known for his versatile roles in film and television. In the movie NEW ROSE HOTEL (1998) by Abel Ferrara, he plays the character Fox, an industrial spy who, together with his partner X, played by Willem Dafoe, tries to poach a renowned scientist. The film is based on a short story by William Gibson. Walken's career includes numerous notable films. In “The Deer Hunter” (1978) by Michael Cimino, he plays the role of Nick, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. In “Pulp Fiction” (1994) by Quentin Tarantino, he plays the role of Captain Koons. In Steven Spielberg's “Catch Me If You Can” (2002), he portrays Frank Abagnale Sr., a performance that earned him another Academy Award nomination. In Tim Burton's “Sleepy Hollow” (1999), he plays the Headless Horseman. In “Batman Returns” (1992), also directed by Tim Burton, he plays businessman Max Shreck. Walken has also made an impressive mark on television. He stars as Burt Goodman in the series Severance (2022) by Dan Erickson. He can be seen as Frank Sheldon in The Outlaws (2021) by Stephen Merchant. Christopher Walken has established himself as one of the most outstanding actors of his generation through his unique and intense performances.
