Charlène Favier is a French director known for her work in the film industry. Her acclaimed debut feature SLALOM premiered at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and received positive reviews for its strong narrative and direction. In SLALOM, Charlène Favier, who competed in ski races herself until she was 16 years old, drew on her own experiences of sexual abuse in sports as a teenager. SLALOM was nominated for a César and won the Ornano Valenti Prize and the Pluriel.les Festival.
