Brian Kotzur is an American musician, actor, and filmmaker. He is known for his involvement in the band Silver Jews, in which he played the drums. Kotzur transitioned into acting and filmmaking, featuring prominently in the 2014 film "Men Go to Battle," a critically acclaimed independent film set during the American Civil War. "Men Go to Battle" received the Best Narrative Feature at the Tribeca Film Festival. While Kotzur's work primarily bridges music and film, his notable contributions in the independent film circuit have made him a recognized figure in both industries.
