Berti Vogts is not widely recognized as an actor or director but is rather known for his career in football (soccer). He was born on December 30, 1946, in Büttgen, Germany. Vogts was a professional footballer, primarily playing as a defender for Borussia Mönchengladbach between 1965 and 1979. He also earned 96 caps for the West Germany national team and was part of the squad that won the 1974 FIFA World Cup. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into management. Vogts managed the West Germany under-21 team, then went on to manage the German national team from 1990 to 1998, leading them to victory in the 1996 UEFA European Championship. He also had managerial stints with the national teams of Kuwait, Scotland, Nigeria, and Azerbaijan, as well as various club teams.
