Ali Asgari is an Iranian film director known for his work in the independent film industry. He came to prominence with his short film “More Than Two Hours”, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013. Asgari made his feature film debut in 2017 with “Disappearance”, which was very well received at various international film festivals. His latest work, UNTIL TOMORROW (2022), tells the compelling story of a young woman in Iran who is confronted with the consequences of social norms. In his films, Asgari often subtly and nuancedly explores human relationships, moral dilemmas and the challenges of modern life.
