Borgman

Alex van Warmerdam is a Dutch actor, director, and screenwriter known for his darkly comedic and surrealistic films. He began his career in the 1980s and has since gained acclaim both in the Netherlands and internationally. Some of his notable films include "Borgman" (2013), "Grimm" (2003), and "The Last Days of Emma Blank" (2009). Van Warmerdam has received several awards for his work, including the FIPRESCI Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for "Borgman." He is also known for his work in theatre and as a playwright.
