Aktan Arym Kubat

Aktan Arym Kubat, also known as Aktan Abdykalykov, is a celebrated Kyrgyz director, screenwriter, and actor. Some of his notable films include "The Adopted Son" (1998), which won the Silver Leopard at the Locarno International Film Festival, and “The Light Thief” (2010), which was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival.
